Boutique firm Lincoln Private Investment Office has appointed Tom Braithwaite as a partner and adviser.
With over 15 years’ industry experience, Mr Braithwaite joined the firm from Barclays Wealth Management where he was a director and co-founder of the financial institutions group, advising individuals and their families from the investment banking, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital, and insurance sectors.
Lincoln has recently grown and its team is now supported by the newly established strategic advisory board.
This board includes: Ausaf Abbas – formerly head of sales and marketing at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management; Peter Harvey – formerly chief executive of Barclays Corporate and Commercial Bank; Jason Katz – founding partner of Kings Park Capital; and Duncan McIntyre – formerly chief executive of Morse.
Managing partner Ross Elder said: “We are delighted that Tom has joined Lincoln. The experience and expertise he brings will be invaluable for the firm and our clients.”
Mr Braithwaite added: “I believe Lincoln has the right business model to enable me to look after my clients to the highest standard. I look forward to contributing to the firm’s continuing success.”
Lincoln describes itself as a “modern, unconflicted private investment office”.
The business is jointly owned by the team and their clients, meaning all shareholders are also clients of Lincoln. To ensure alignment, all employees at Lincoln invest their own money alongside their clients.
